ERTS & Bond Because GMA has its own Enhanced Remote Transit Shed (ERTS) authorised by HM Customs, customers can call off their own individual consignments which have arrived in groupage containers, without having to wait until other items which have nothing to do with them are cleared. Customs Bonding is another significant development which authorises GMA to retain goods until customers are ready to pay VAT and Duty on them prior to delivery. GMA can even split consignments and distribute them ‘piece-meal’ on the same terms. All of which means that our customers enjoy improved cashflow gains; as well as the peace of mind which comes knowing their goods are secured in a customs-approved warehouse.
